Corporate responsibility Corporate responsibility is one of the main values at Tramesa, active and voluntary contributions towards social, economic and environmental improvement in order to achieve added value as a company. Respect and commitment that we consider fundamental for a proper operation in this complex world. The principles governing TRAMESA’s operations are: 1. Protection of Fundamental Human RightsThe company’s operations must comply with the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which are rights inherent to all human beings, with no distinction whatsoever due to nationality, place of residence, sex, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, language, or any other condition. 2. Respect for the freedom of association and collective bargainingAll Company employees are guaranteed the right of association and collective bargaining, respecting the national legislation established by the Spanish Constitution itself and by the Workers’ Statutes and other laws implementing these rights. 3. Respect for the environmentIn order to preserve the ecological space by optimising natural resources, enabling a sustainable productive system, TRAMESA maintains its commitment to the environment, complying with applicable regulations in this matter. 4. Forced labourForced or compulsory labour remains eradicated from TRAMESA’s Human Resources policy, understanding as such the work demanded from any person that is not performed voluntarily, under threat of penalty or encumbrance, except for those cases established by law: civic obligations, any work necessary to face an emergency situation and any other work regulated by national legislation. 5. Child labourTRAMESA will not employ children in jobs that are detrimental to their potential and their dignity, allowing a physical and psychological development that is in accordance with their age. This situation will be proven by verification of the official documentation that certifies it. 6. Anti-CorruptionTRAMESA will cooperate with the public institutions of each territory where it carries out its operations, in order to establish and promote practises aimed at preventing corruption. Company employees may not ask for or accept any bribery whatsoever, nor may they carry out any activity that entails extortion or similar fraudulent activity. 7. DiscriminationNo distinction, exclusion or preference will be made based on grounds of race, colour, sex, religion, political opinion, national ancestry or social origin, that is aimed at voiding or modifying equal opportunities or equal treatment in the employment and jobs of its workers and third parties with whom there is any type of commercial or mercantile relation. 8. Respect for fair employment conditionsTRAMESA will comply with legislation and with the collective agreements that govern the work day and that are applicable to them, also complying with their content regarding resting periods between working days and weekend repose. Applicable legislation regarding salaries will also be fulfilled, enabling the most elemental human needs to be met through their payment. 9. Safe and responsible working conditionsTRAMESA will provide suitable means for the performance of safe and healthy work, taking preventive measures in matters of Safety and Health at the Workplace. 10. Promotion of sustainable technologyTRAMESA will perform an analysis on the use of its resources in order to consolidate a more efficient process, using sustainable technology that respects the environment.
